a. SCP series SCF (self-control fuse) family provides overcurrent and overcharge protection ideal for multi-cell battery packs and systems. The product features an integrated fuse element assembly and heater where the heater can be activated to open the fuse element upon an IC or FET detecting an overvoltage (overcharge) issue. The family is available in three different footprints with current ratings from 12 A to 120 A.

b. Self Control Fuse (SCF)is a three-terminal protective element,mainly used secondary protection in notebook computers lithium ion battery , tablet computers lithium ion battery and mobile phones lithium ion battery. SCF protects lithium ion battery from the overcharge and the overcurrent . When the lithium battery overcurrent, the fuse will melt and cut off the current or when the heater is activated and melts fuse element to stop overcharging, the flow electric current through the heater stops as soon as the charging circuit is cut off. SCF can be installed by the SMT machine and reflow soldering.

c. SCF = Self Control Fuse is an externally triggerable fuse to provide secondary lineprotection for battery packs. SCF can be triggered by activating a heater (poweredby the battery itself of charger) in case of: battery pack overcharge, cell over- orunder-voltage, high temperature.
