Rice Cooker Aluminium Housing Thermistor Temperature Sensors 100K With Thermal Fuse

Description Of The Rice Cooker Aluminium Housing Thermistor Temperature Sensors

Rice cooks at boiling temperature (100° celsius or 212 F). Usually, automated rice cookers will sense via thermistor temperature snesor (thermal cutoff fuse built-in) when the water starts boiling and stop the cooking process.

Parts of a Rice Cooker and Their Functions

Understanding its key components will help you use a rice cooker easily. While there are different types of rice cookers out there, most of them have six main parts:

1. Main Body. This is the exterior pot that houses the inner cooking pan, heating plate, as well as the main circuitry found under the base. It’s usually made of stainless steel or plastic.
2. Inner Pot. The inner cooking pot is where all the cooking happens. Once it’s turned on, the plate will start to heat and boil the water in the pot. This is usually made of non-stick material, either stainless steel or ceramic.
3. Heating Plate. Depending on the variety of cooker, the heating element will either direct heat to the bottom of the pan or heat the entire pot (IH).
4. Thermal Sensor. This is the mechanism that detects whether the temperature has reached boiling temperature and signals the device to stop cooking.
5. Indicator lights. Found in standard rice cookers, these lights let you know if the device is in cook mode or resting in warm mode.
6. Navigation buttons. For more advanced devices, you’ll find a display menu for selecting different settings such as delay timer. In multi-cookers, this is where you can select various cooking programs.
